Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write a persuasive piece of writing. I can think of lots of reasons why Ice-Cream is better than chocolate. It was easy to persuade the reader to think that Ice-Cream is better than chocolate because Ice-Cream is very yummy!

Youthtown

I like Youthtown because we play fun games. In Youthtown I learnt how to play games. My favourite activity is obstacle courses.

Telling Time

I was learning to understand 24 hour time and write the time in numbers and words. I can read the time on the clock and write it in digital time then in words. It was easy because I had already learnt to tell the time.

Antonyms And Synonyms

I was learning to recognise a range of language features. I can identify different language features and I understand the meaning of different language features. It was tricky to find antonyms and synonyms because we were unsure of the meanings of some words.

I was learning to write an acrostic poem. I can write an acrostic poem about Halloween. It was easy to write an acrostic poem because there is a lot of things to write about the topic; Halloween.
